About Us
Offshore Sports Betting is an independent research site for US bettors looking at offshore sportsbooks — the international betting sites that accept US players even though no US state licenses or regulates them. We compare these books on odds, market coverage, bonuses, payout speed and banking, including crypto, so readers can weigh their options with clear eyes rather than marketing copy.
We don't operate a sportsbook. We don't take bets, hold player funds, or process withdrawals. What we do is track publicly available information on offshore operators — licensing, betting markets, promotions, payment methods and reported payout behavior — and put it side by side so you can compare it yourself.
What "offshore" actually means for a US bettor
Every book we cover is licensed outside the United States, typically in jurisdictions like Curaçao, Panama or Costa Rica, and none of them are licensed or regulated by any US state gaming authority. That distinction matters. It means these sites sit in a legal grey area for US bettors — most states haven't passed laws specifically addressing offshore wagering, but that also means none of the consumer protections that come with a US state license apply. There's no state-mandated segregation of player funds, no state dispute-resolution process, and no guarantee that a payout will arrive on time or at all. Before using any site we cover, check your own state's current laws — they vary, and they change.
We built this site because a large number of US bettors are searching for options regardless: players in states with no regulated market, bettors who've been limited or restricted by licensed US books, and people who want markets or limits those books don't offer. Our job is to make that search more informed, not to tell you it's risk-free.
How we approach a review
Given this site's focus on no-KYC and lighter-verification offshore books, our comparisons weight the factors that matter most to that reader specifically, alongside the basics every bettor should check:
- Verification requirements — how much identity documentation a book asks for before a withdrawal, and how that compares to standard KYC processes
- Payout speed and reliability — reported turnaround times, payout limits, and any track record of delayed or disputed withdrawals
- Banking options — deposit and withdrawal methods, with particular attention to cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and stablecoins like USDT or USDC) versus card and wire transfer options, since crypto is often the fastest route to a payout but carries its own price-volatility risk
- Odds and market coverage — pricing on spreads, moneylines and totals, plus the depth of props, futures, parlays and live betting
- Bonus terms — we read past the headline percentage to the rollover or wagering requirement, minimum odds, time limits and any games excluded from qualifying
- Site security — encryption standards and general account-safety practices, to the extent an operator publishes them
Editorial ratings shown on this site reflect our own scoring against these criteria. They are not customer-review scores, and a high rating never implies a guaranteed payout or a sure thing — betting outcomes are never guaranteed, and no offshore book can promise you'll win.
Where our information comes from
Our comparisons are built from information each operator publishes, terms and conditions pages, and how consistently that information holds up over time. We update rankings periodically as bonus terms, licensing details or payout patterns change, and we date-stamp when a page was last reviewed. Where we can't verify a specific claim — a payout time, a licensing detail, a fee — we say so rather than filling the gap with a guess.
Why our rankings aren't for sale
Offshore Sports Betting earns revenue through affiliate partnerships. If you click through to a sportsbook such as Lucky Rebel, Bovada, BetOnline, or any other operator listed here and sign up, we may receive a commission. That relationship never decides where a book lands in our rankings — commission does not buy position, and an operator that pays us can still receive a lower score, or a flagged limitation, than one that doesn't.
Betting comes with real risk
Nothing on this site should be read as a suggestion that betting is a reliable way to make money, or that any pick, tip, or bonus is a "lock." Bettors can and do lose money, and offshore books carry an added layer of risk beyond the bet itself: the possibility that a book delays or refuses a payout, since there's no US regulator to compel it to pay. If you choose to use one of the sites we cover, only wager money you can afford to lose, and treat any welcome bonus's rollover requirement as a real cost, not a bonus in the plain sense.
Every book we list is intended for adults 21 and older. We don't cover, target, or write for anyone under that age, and eligibility to bet also depends on the laws of your own state. If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, our Responsible Gambling page has tools and the number for the National Council on Problem Gambling helpline, 1-800-GAMBLER.
